About us
Mr Michael Wanis is a consultant urological surgeon and andrologist based in Ashtead and Horley. He specialises in Aquablation® and UroLift®, and manages kidney stones and urological cancers. He practices privately at Ashtead Hospital and Spire Gatwick Park Hospital alongside his NHS role at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
He qualified from the University of Manchester in 2011 and completed specialist urology training in Surrey and Sussex. Became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2020. He serves as Urological Cancer Lead and provides the andrology service, with interests in minimally invasive surgery, male sexual health, and prostate care.
Known for his patient-centred approach and clear communication, Mr Wanis delivers personalised care tailored to individual needs. He is also engaged in global healthcare initiatives, research publications, peer review, and international professional associations.
